Melbourne Corporate Mission

I work on a number of programs, in workplaces and with community groups, that makes help available where people need it – in their everyday lives.

The Southern Cross Chaplaincy Mission was established to provide a spiritual presence and support service in workplaces and other environments in the Melbourne Central Business District and Docklands Precinct.

Corporate

Current organisations working with the Mission include Crown Casino, Bendigo Bank and Southern Cross Station. Help that we can provide to your workplace can include:
• Employee Assistance Programs – offering individual counselling to staff under stress in their professional or personal lives, helping care for the workforce.
• Crisis management – providing a debriefing counselling and support role to employees who may have undergone a work related trauma including industrial accidents or violence in the workplace
• Seminars – covering topical religious issues such as inter-faith understanding

Community Based Work

The community based focus of the Southern Cross Chaplaincy Mission is just like the corporate work provided above, but delivered in non-workplace environments. Current groups involved with us include the Northland Shopping Centre, the Maritime Union of Australia and Australian Rules Football teams.
